This Privacy Policy explains how VaultXRP Wallet ("VaultXRP", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the VaultXRP Wallet mobile application (the "App") and the website at vaultxrp.app (the "Site"). VaultXRP is a self-custody wallet for the XRP Ledger. Your keys and recovery phrase are generated and stored only on your device.

Summary

• We do not require an account, email, or phone number to use the App.
• We do not collect your recovery phrase, private keys, family seed, or wallet passphrase — these never leave your device.
• We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.
• The App uses public XRP Ledger endpoints and third-party market data providers to display balances and prices.

1. Information stored on your device

The following information is created and stored locally on your device, protected by the iOS Keychain and Secure Enclave. VaultXRP does not have access to it:

• Your 24-word recovery phrase and derived private keys.
• Imported family seeds, BIP39 phrases, optional passphrases, and custom derivation paths.
• Watch-only addresses you add.
• Your address book entries and app preferences (theme, auto-lock).
• Encrypted wallet backups you export (encryption keys are known only to you).

2. Information we do not collect

• Recovery phrases, private keys, seeds, or passphrases.
• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or government IDs (the App requires none of these).
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA). The App does not request App Tracking Transparency consent because it does not track.
• Contacts, photos, location, health, or other iOS data classes, except where you explicitly grant access (e.g. camera for QR scanning).

3. Information processed when you use the App

To display balances and interact with the XRP Ledger, the App connects to public XRPL nodes and market data providers. These requests may include your public XRPL address (which is public on-ledger by design) and standard technical data such as your IP address and device type, as is inherent to any internet request. VaultXRP does not link this data to your identity.

Market data (e.g. token prices) is fetched from third-party providers. Their handling of request data is governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Camera access

The App requests access to your camera solely to scan QR codes (e.g. XRPL addresses). Camera frames are processed on your device and are not stored, transmitted, or shared.

5. Face ID / biometrics

If you enable Face ID or a device passcode to unlock the App, iOS handles biometric matching entirely on-device. VaultXRP does not receive or store biometric data.

6. Support communications

If you email support@vaultxrp.app, we will process your message and any information you voluntarily include (such as your email address) solely to respond. Never send your recovery phrase, private keys, or seed to support or anyone else.

7. Website (vaultxrp.app)

The Site is a static informational site. It does not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or fingerprinting. If we add analytics in the future, it will be limited to privacy- preserving, aggregate usage metrics that do not identify you, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data retention and deletion

Because VaultXRP does not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain about you. Deleting the App removes all local wallet data from your device — make sure your recovery phrase is backed up before deleting.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or CCPA (California) to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most of these rights are satisfied by default. You can contact us at support@vaultxrp.app with any questions.

11. Security

No system is perfectly secure, but VaultXRP is designed to minimize the data at risk: secrets stay on your device, protected by iOS Keychain and the Secure Enclave. You are responsible for safeguarding your device, passcode, and recovery phrase.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
