These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the VaultXRP Wallet mobile application (the "App") and the website at vaultxrp.app (the "Site"), collectively the "Service", provided by VaultXRP ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the App. You are responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to you.

2. Non-custodial wallet

VaultXRP is a self-custody wallet. Keys, recovery phrases, and seeds are generated and stored only on your device. We do not have custody of your funds, cannot access your wallet, and cannot reverse, cancel, or recover transactions.

You are solely responsible for: safeguarding your device, passcode, biometrics, and 24-word recovery phrase; verifying every transaction before signing; and understanding the risks of using the XRP Ledger and holding cryptocurrency.

3. No investment, exchange, or financial services

VaultXRP does not provide swap, exchange, on-ramp, off-ramp, DEX trading, staking, lending, brokerage, custodial, or investment services. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Issued tokens (such as RLUSD) represent obligations of their issuers, not native XRP, and their value depends entirely on the issuer.

4. Independence disclaimer

VaultXRP Wallet is independent software. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Ripple, the XRP Ledger Foundation, or any token issuer. "XRP", "XRPL", and "XRP Ledger" are used only to describe supported network functionality.

5. Risks

• Cryptocurrency is volatile and can lose value rapidly.
• Transactions on the XRP Ledger are irreversible once validated.
• Loss of your recovery phrase results in permanent loss of funds. Nobody, including VaultXRP, can recover them.
• Issued tokens depend on their issuer's solvency, freeze/clawback settings, and trust line policies.
• Third-party market data may be inaccurate or delayed.
• Malware, phishing, and social engineering can compromise your device or wallet.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Engage in fraud, money laundering, financing of terrorism, or evasion of sanctions.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App except as permitted by applicable law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

7. Third-party services and networks

The App interacts with the XRP Ledger and may communicate with public XRPL nodes and third-party market data providers. We do not control those networks or providers and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, fees, or actions.

8. Intellectual property

The App, Site, and their content (excluding user-generated data stored on your device) are owned by VaultXRP or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

9. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and VaultXRP, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country or on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted parties list.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DATA (INCLUDING BALANCES OR PRICES) WILL BE ACCURATE OR TIMELY.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VAULTXRP AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF FUNDS, TOKENS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PROFITS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50).

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VaultXRP from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. Because you hold your own keys, your wallet remains accessible on the XRP Ledger using any compatible wallet and your recovery phrase.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VaultXRP is established, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
